I believe long-lasting friendships are formed by gathering people for thoughtful discussions around ideas. To support this, last year I made the event space at our coliving building available to the community to host performances, workshops, and more. Needless to say, we were blown away by the response! The talent that we’ve attracted since launching this program has been remarkable. In just one year, we hosted hundreds of incredible events with thousands of attendees. Clearly, there is a powerful desire for a deeper connection in New York.
To expand on this idea we renovated our event space and are relaunching it as The Blue Room. Next week we are introducing a new Lightning Society newsletter to keep the thousands of people who’ve attended our events aware of everything we’re working on. The newsletter will highlight upcoming events, thought pieces, and creator profiles focusing on a community member going above and beyond to make something amazing that everyone should know about.
